Lighting control systems determine when industrial fixtures operate, how much output they produce, and how lighting responds to machines, sensors, operators, and process states.

Industrial lighting can operate independently, but integrating control with the surrounding equipment can improve usability and make illumination available precisely when a process, inspection, or operator requires it.
