THE PUBLISHERS
IAC and La Palma BR are the official publishers of the Starlight Conference Proceedings, with the support of the Spanish Ministry of the Environment, the Canary Islands Government and UNESCO-MaB. The edition will be assisted by the Unesco Centre of the Canary Islands.

STARLIGHT PUBLICATION POLICY
The Starlight Conference Proceedings will be published within three months after the Conference.
Since the CUC needs one month for processing the complete manuscript, EDITORS would have the first two months after the Conference to complete their editing task. This requires that all AUTHORS have to deliver their completed manuscripts to the Chief Editor before the Conference.
Authors who wish to make revisions can submit a revised version of their manuscript to the Chief Editor within four weeks after the Conference.

FORMAT
Papers should be sent in Word format, not exceeding 8 (eight) A4 format pages (210 x 297 mm), including figures and photographs, and a maximum of 25,000 characters including spaces.
Preferred font: Times New Roman (12 pt
).

The Editors of the Proceedings will decide on the page allocation.

FIGURES
Image files are admitted in any conventional format (.jpg, .tif, etc...). They should have the appropriate resolution for printing (300 ppi is recommended).
Image files must be sent as separate files, independent from the text, and indicating at least their approximate position in the paper and the corresponding captions. In order to make layout work easier, we suggest including in the text file the image in its indicative position but in low resolution.
With the aim to homogenise the graphics fonts, we recommend sending the data file that was used to generate the graphics (i.e. Excel).
If any of the images or graphics to include in the publication is too big to be sent by e-mail, please contact the chief Editor who would provide you with a FTP address where you can easily upload it.

COLOUR FIGURES and IMAGES
Colour images and photographs are allowed. They will be reproduced in colour only in the electronic version of the Proceedings. The paper version will be a b/w book. Therefore, in case of colour figures with half-tones, authors should make sure that their figures will reproduce as desired in black-and-white.
