| The
Starlight 2007 Organising Committe invites to present posters and multimedia presentations
to the International Conference in Defence of the Quality of the Night Sky and the Right
to Observe the Stars. Posters
will be on display in the "Sala Municipal de Cultura" next to Teatro Chico,
venue of Conference.
Posters can be mounted before 21.00 of
April 18th, 2007 and between 8.00 and 9.00 am of April 19th. They should dismantled after
the end of the Conference. Necessary materials for mounting will be provided by the
organisers; nevertheless, participants are free to bring their own material.
Guidelines for poster presentations
Maximum size: 120 cm (4ft) x 90 cm (3ft) (landscape).
Posters are judged on the following criteria:
1. Clarity of concept.
2. Visual organization of presentation.
3. Clarity of expression.
4. Understanding of project/initiative and results.
5. Relevance and coherence with Conference's topics.
Submission Deadline and Notification
Deadline for poster abstract submission is March, 10th, 2007. Notification will be sent
before March 15th, 2007.
To be considered, applicants should submit an abstract of no more than 500 caracteres,
including spaces. Applicants are requested to
provide the full name of the author (and co-authors), institution, complete address,
telephone number and e-mail address.
Multimedia presentations
Multimedia equipment is available in annexed rooms for video or animated presentations.
Submission requirements and notification are the same as for posters.
